This evening, after checking in and settling in. Meet your fellow travelers, a diverse group sharing your passion for adventure. As night falls, a blanket of stars unfolds overhead. Retire to your comfortable accommodations, eager for tomorrow's adventures in the heart of the Hoggar.

After a hearty breakfast, you'll board your 4x4s and leave Tamanrasset behind. Our destination for the day is the Afilal Guelta, a series of stunning desert oases located just a short drive from the city.

These hidden gems are a sight to behold. Crystal-clear pools surrounded by lush greenery contrast sharply with the vast desert landscape. Take some time to explore the area and admire the unique beauty of this natural wonder.

After our visit to the Afilal Guelta, we'll continue our journey to Assekrem, a majestic plateau that rises to an altitude of over 2,700 meters. As we ascend, the landscape transforms, revealing dramatic rock formations and panoramic vistas.

As dusk falls, we'll arrive at our campsite at the foot of Assekrem. Gather around a crackling campfire and enjoy a delicious dinner of traditional Algerian cuisine. Sip on warming mint tea and gaze up at the limitless canvas of stars as you prepare for a night under the open sky.

Witness the magic of sunrise at Assekrem (2,873 meters), an experience as enchanting as sunset. As dawn breaks over the Ahaggar Mountains, nature awakens gently. The first rays of sunlight caress the mountain peaks, gradually illuminating the landscape with a soft, golden light. Shadows stretch and dissipate, revealing a vibrant palette of colors. The sky is painted with shades of pink, orange, and purple, creating a breathtaking celestial display. Clouds take on ethereal forms, seemingly dancing with the first light of day.

After this sunrise contemplation and exploring the hermitage of Father Charles de Foucaud, we take the road to the gueltas towards Hirafok. We wind our way through the wadis and passes of the Hoggar under the gaze of the stone colossi: Tahat (3,003 meters), Ilman (2,760 meters), Koudia, Tidiamaïne, Tezouaï, In Taraïn... Erosion has shaped an astonishing landscape of sharp peaks.

Hirafok is renowned for its rock engraving station located in a region with abundant vegetation. Our path continues along the Irharrar wadi, strewn with rock engravings along the track.

Tazrouk! Next stop. It is the highest commune in Algeria and is famous for its gardens where fruit and vegetable cultivation is abundant (vines, apple trees, pear trees, pomegranates...).

In the evening, the campfire warms the chilly and contributes to the atmosphere of intimacy and silence. The sky lights up with a thousand stars, the constellations appear, and your guide will take pleasure in deciphering this nocturnal spectacle for you.

After morning coffee/tea, we depart for Tahifet via the Azrou pass. The descending track is vertiginous and challenging, skirting the meanders of the wadi.
