Tipaza & Cherchel City Tour

9:00 AM: We begin our adventure with a departure from your hotel, heading towards the historic town of Tipaza. Enjoy the scenic drive along the Mediterranean coast, where the azure waters meet lush landscapes.

10:00 AM: We arrive at the Mausoleum of Mauretania (Mausolée Royal de Maurétanie). This ancient tomb, built around 3 BC, is a captivating piece of history. Marvel at its impressive circular architecture and take in the panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This mausoleum is the resting place of King Juba II and Queen Cleopatra Selene II, linking it to the legacy of Cleopatra of Egypt.

11:00 AM: We transfer to the charming town of Cherchel, known in ancient times as Caesarea. We visit the Cherchel Museum (Musée de Cherchell), which houses a remarkable collection of Roman and Byzantine artifacts, including intricate mosaics and sculptures that tell the story of the region's rich history. Cherchel was once a major center of culture and learning in the Roman Empire.

1:00 PM: We begin exploring the ruins of Tipaza, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Wander through the ancient Roman city, discovering its well-preserved amphitheater, basilicas, and thermal baths. As we stroll through the site, imagine the vibrant life that once filled these streets and the grandeur of the Roman Empire. The ruins are beautifully situated against the backdrop of the sea, offering stunning vistas and a sense of timelessness.

5:00 PM: We head to Chenoua Beach for a relaxing break. Take in the stunning sunset over the Mediterranean Sea, with the picturesque Chenoua Mountain as the backdrop. It's a perfect spot to unwind and capture beautiful photos of the setting sun. Chenoua Beach is also known for its unique rock formations and serene ambiance.

6:00 PM: We depart from Chenoua Beach and return to Algiers. Enjoy the drive back to your hotel, reflecting on the day's adventures and the rich history we've experienced.
